Sportsmanship FAIL
Yet another team joins the ranks of gamers whacking away at zombies and testing thier skills against other teams like we all so much enjoy.
Its a shame that this one called Left 4 Dead Gamers,
here after referred to as =(LG)= or LG, comes to us not as a team willing to play honestly but as a group so blinded by chasing a W, if asked what sportsmanship is
may reply with details of ESPN's cruise for men.
LG was willing to give a short interview detailing their philosophy on matches.

They were pretty open about their use of rule abuse to gain wins. They went on to share that they feel if you slip up and give them a chance to dispute the match, they deserve the win, no matter how ridiculous the accusation is or whether or not you actually beat them fair and square.
All be warned, LG says they will do this in every match if they can.

The Rogue Nation signs up for the L4D Ladder at TWL.
TWL has created a created a ladder for the new game Left 4 Dead. We have joined the ladder and are looking forward to a good times playing this fast paced get to the "safe room" game. We have already been challenged within a few days of the opening.
Thanks to everyone on our team for signing up!

Season Three for CAL and TWL is about to start!
The Rogue Nation is joining up for another season at CAL and TWL. While it seems most teams are fading away, we are still alive and thankful for that!
TWL will be a big challenge due to the fact that we are going to play in both the expert and the open. TWL is planning on staying with PAM4 for Season 3 while most other leagues are moving on to PROMOD. Also, with all the new anti-cheat programs out there, TWL has adopted one as well with X-Ray. While its not determed if its any good, I guess time willl tell.
While last season at CAL wasnt all that was hoped for by not making it to the playoffs, we could not have had a better season. We got a chance to play some very good competition and if we would have made up our first weeks no show, we would have had an even better shot at a playoff spot. With that behind us we are really excited about playing PROMOD this season at CAL.
Thanks,

We’re now heading into week 5 – the latter half of season 2 begins. Things are looking very promising for the team. With a record of 3-1 in both CAL and TWL, as well as, top 10 placements in both leagues, the Rogue Nation is looking better than ever!
Our team has come a long way since its season 1 debut. The struggles that plagued us last season are no more, and we continue to move forward toward earning the success we deserve. As season 2 plays out, we are working toward a whole new level of teamwork, dedication, and skill. With new additions to our roster we can only become stronger. Night after night these dedicated players scrim till the wee hours of the morning, pushing themselves to the limit. It is with this newfound dedication and perseverance that we, the Rogue Nation, will clinch a spot in the playoffs and charge full force toward an amazing season 2 finish. Thank you everyone for your hard work, lets keep it up!

TWL's SnD Season One comes to a close for The [R]ogue Nation, last night with a loss to Team Exodus. Although season one is over for our team at TWL, its just a new beginning to prepare for season two at TWL and CAL. Please stay in touch with our team as we move toward a promising future.
Thanks to everyone that contributed in our first season to help make it a big success. Everyone played extremely hard and improved their skill in great measures to help earn a TWL Expert Playoff spot. None of this would have been possible without your dedication to teamwork and sportsmanship.

[November, 2007: Prologue] Several gamers-disenfranchised, dissatisfied, and itching for a
fight all came together to form a team. They are The [R]ogue.Nation
[February, 2008: TWL S&D Season] Our season has seen up’s and down’s-great
play and greater blunders. But, I am proud to say that after eight solid weeks
of scrimming and strategizing, we are a cohesive unit-nay, a 5 headed monster
capable of planning-and then executing in a competitive environment.
Week 1 was a shootout with the After Life Clan, which saw us losing 12-8. Week 2
was another heartbreaker. We played Unstoppable Dynasty -fame and lost by the
same margin; 12-8.
Week 3 was the turning point in my opinion-with a losing record, discontent and
a lack of confidence ripping through the team. We had to play the Gods of
Myth on City Streets. We lost this match-but the team showed marked improvement.
A spark had been struck and this team seemed inspired-even possessed we took
them to the limit and lost with a score of 11 to 10 in triple overtime.
Bring on Week 4 and T3am B3ast! This was a complete rout. Our team went in and
lost the first round-I attribute that to nerves, and then managed to shut down
the B3ast 19-1. This is the team I was looking for in week one. This is the team
I expected to see from now on… and I haven't been disappointed!
Weeks 5 through 8 were nothing less than outstanding. We played STK gaming
winning 11-9, finally coming out on top of a close one. Week 6 saw Easy Going
Gamers visiting our server, and walking away losers in another tight 11-9
victory for the Nation. Week 7 we started to show a little dominance… taking
Endless shadow 13-7 followed by week 8’s outstanding performance by a well oiled
machine. The [R]ogue.Nation rolled over a very good team in Bamf Gaming 16-4.
Post Season is coming up-while there is good reason to worry, this reporter
feels our being in the championship playoff bracket is locked-up. We have the
record to be there-and the skills to advance. Good luck team-Excellent job!
Look for us in Season 2 at Cal-O! And our second team-hungry for competition,
running up the TWL League ranks.

This week’s match was against Easy Going Gamers ( -|EGG|- ). Our map was Strike, which up until
the previous week had been very unfamiliar territory to us. The match was off
to a slow start, we had Marines to start off. Attacking for the first half
proved to be a challenge, EGG had a strong defense and was putting up a good
fight. We went into the second half losing 7-3. However, on the defense, we
stepped up our game and busted out an 11-9 win. There were some key plays that
occurred to clinch the win. Vito and Sublime were dead on with their long range
shots. Mike and Silent were stopping them in their tracks with some well
executed nades, and Tusk clutched a crucial round win (via knife kill ) to break
the tie and rally the momentum to secure the final round win.
As Week 6 of Season 1 comes to a
close, the team is on the up and up. Recovering from 3 consecutive losses, we
have come back to win 3 straight. The team has shown amazing perseverance and
patience, spending the last few weeks practicing extra hard and giving it their
all. Our efforts have paid off. Congrats everyone and thank you for all your
effort and hard work. Let’s keep it up!
